Aww, they can be pretty tricky! I find it best to use 2 in an "X" shape so they overlap, I hope that helps!

I try that too but they always seem to slip out. I wonder if my hair is too thick, or I'm trying to press too much hair into the pin.

That could be it, or perhaps you need to try putting them in a different direction and twisting the hair as you do it. I'll have to do a video with some tips ^_^
